#HumankindAlliance#ThankfulThursday would like to commend the wonderful efforts of the #community of #Henderson, Nevada in helping 10-year-old Kamren meet her goal of selling 1,500 boxes of cookies so that she and her #Girl Scout troop could go horseback riding.
On February 20, 2021, Mike Lofton of Henderson posted this on his Facebook page: “FYI. These girls are my family. The little girl has a goal of 100 boxes a day. Thank you whoever called the HPD (Henderson Police Department) on them for stealing packages.”
When A.J. Ali of #L.O.V.E. Is The Answer Movement heard what happened to Kamren, he set up the interview with Kamren and her family just to share the beauty of what happens when a community stands up against injustice. As a result, the #community came together and bought dozens of boxes of cookies from her. #The L.O.V.E. Is The Answer Movement played a part in helping Kamren reach her goal and were able to reunite her with the very kind officers from the #Henderson Police Department. The officers even bought more cookies from her! This is what it looks like when the community comes together as family.
